The Centreon Business Activity Monitoring module offers the possibility of measuring IT production activities in real time by agregating status of different check points monitored by Centreon. The user is therefore better informed about the overall health condition of its IT system and services, and can make the best decisions.

Centreon BAM uses an advanced “Business Activities” (BA) calculation engine based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI).

The graphical representation of the data is carried out in real time, which creates a console that is dedicated to monitoring IT activities.

The aim of this documentation is to provide guidance for rolling out the business activities, but also to learn to exploit the “real time” data and reporting data of Centreon BAM.
